Claire's backstory

I lost my Arthas kitty at the young age of 9 in early 2019 due to saddle thrombosis. He was a Lynx point Siamese and I now know that they are prone to heart failure. Mom knew that losing my soul cat broke my heart, so she quietly kept an eye open for a cat who could help heal the void he left behind. In August of 2020, her best friend's son found an abandoned kitten. He bottle fed the youngling but wasn't able to keep her as a pet, so Mom asked me if I was ready to let another animal into my heart. I hated the idea of this singleton kitten ending up in a shelter, so I agreed to take her in. On October 10th, 2020, we welcomed Claire Kittenfield into our lives.

I like to think my angel Arthas brought Claire to me because she has been an absolute joy. She has a huge personality in a tiny body and is always making me laugh. She is very reactive and playful; her favourite thing to do is to "hunt" her toys and leave her kills all over the apartment for us to find. (Such a good provider!) She also goes bonkers for lasers.
